Our highly experienced team of trainers can tailor workshops to meet the needs of your organization.  Most workshops are 3 - 5 hours and accommodate 8 - 15 adults.  Past workshop hosts include community centers, schools, after school programs, religious institutions and corporations.

The Trailblazers Training Institute (TTI) is the adult youth worker track of the Girls Inc. of NYC Institute for Social Change. TTI is a 12 hour training for adult youth workers that builds skills of youth workers to serve girls better. Based on Girls Inc. of NYC’s belief in the power of the individual youth worker to change lives, TTI prepares youth professionals to deliver effective gender equitable programming. Those who complete all 12 hours of training will receive a copy of the Girls’ Bill of Rights curriculum. Participants will be trained in the following areas:

• Gender Equity 101— Strategies to create girl-friendly environments and break gender stereotypes

• Youth Facilitation— Best practices for working with girls ages 6-18

• Sexuality Education 101— Knowing and appropriately responding to the changing girl
