The Girls Inc. of New York City Annual Conference is a free virtual event open to all girls and womxn ages 10-18 in NYC. This year’s conference will focus on how you can better use social media, art, and communications platforms to improve your overall mental health and well-being, create community, and show self-love.

This conference will include workshops and panel discussions covering social and emotional  wellness and media literacy. While workshops are still in development, topics may include:

 

• Analyzing trends on TikTok and Instagram Reels that uplift womxn and girls

• Using Tik Tok and other popular social media platforms for activism, advocacy, and empowerment

• Exploring poetry, songwriting, dance, and art for creative expression and activism

• Developing and marketing your personal brand and voice on TikTok

• Setting goals and creating vision boards

• Using apps for stress management and coping skills 

• Fostering connections and healthy relationships online
