Girls Inc. of New York City Training Institute for Educators
Learn how to facilitate Girls Inc. of NYC's signature programs.

Our Girls Inc. Educator Training Institute program offers FREE training and cohort support for professional educators and community-based organizations who wish to gain tools and new skills to support students ages 10 to 18. All educators will receive a stipend for successfully completing training. The Training Institute highlights three core programs educators may be trained on:

G3: Generation Giga Girls
Data Analytics for Social Justice

Students explore how to effectively use data to advocate for social justice issues and influence policy. Students learn how to research, collect, analyze information and use data to develop solutions to causes they care about most in their communities.

Financial Lit.png
Her Future
Financial Literacy

Students develop the financial skills to build wealth and explore high-paying careers. Students learn how to budget, save, and invest money to make it grow. The goal of this program is to empower girls and young women to become financially savvy and independent and build generational wealth.

Mind Body Matters.png
Mind Body Matters

The Mind Body Matters program is a toolkit for delivering mental health programming to girls ages 10 - 18. Each lesson incorporates essential layers of social-emotional learning that will help guide girls to a better understanding of how their minds and bodies are connected.
