Stand in her corner

Girls Inc. of New York City inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold, delivering life transforming programs to girls, young women, and gender-expansive young people throughout New York City. Through education and advocacy, we prepare girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers to advance a more equitable world.

Girls Inc. of NYC is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, operating separately from the Girls Inc. national office. Every day, Girls Inc. of NYC is on the ground, delivering services that reach 10,000 young people at sites across the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan.

Girls Inc. of NYC welcomes t
hose who identify as girls and gender-expansive young people who feel our pro-girl environment is the best fit for them.

Girls, young, women, and gender-expansive youth have the right to:

2. Express themselves with originality and enthusiasm.

3. Take risks, to strive freely, and to take pride in success.

4. Accept and appreciate their bodies.

5. Have confidence in themselves and to be safe in the world.

6. Prepare for interesting work and economic independence.
