Annual Conference: Elevate Her Essence
Thursday, March 26, 2026
10:00 am – 2:00 pm
99 Scott Studio
99 Scott Ave, Brooklyn
Girls today face a wide range of challenges to their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. The constant presence of social media and high levels of online engagement can intensify these pressures, amplifying their impact. At Girls Inc. of NYC we are committed to addressing the rise in teen depression by fostering a positive sense of self and equipping young people with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to build and sustain healthy lifestyles.
Each spring, in celebration of Women’s History Month, Girls Inc. of NYC hosts the annual Elevate Her Essence Conference—an inspiring leadership experience that brings together girls from across the city for meaningful dialogue and dynamic, skill-building workshops.
Last year, the Elevate Her Essence Conference welcomed over 1,000 girls and gender-expansive youth from middle and high schools across NYC for an experience centered on mental health and self-care. Through activity stations, small-group workshops, and mainstage educational presentations, participants explored practical strategies to support and strengthen their mental well-being.
Our 2026 conference will once again convene 1,000 attendees for a powerful, high-energy gathering designed to cultivate confidence, resilience, and connection. Bringing together community leaders, educators, parents, and—most importantly—the inspiring young people we serve, Elevate Her Essence creates space for girls to learn, lead, and thrive. Through interactive workshops, though-provoking discussions, and hands-on experiences, participants gain tangible tools to shape a healthier, brighter future.
This year’s conference will feature:
