2026 TCS New York City Marathon

Girls Inc. of New York City (GINYC) is thrilled to announce our participation as an Official Charity Partner for the ninth consecutive year in the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026. The Marathon will cover 26.2 miles and feature over 50,000 participants from around the globe. This year, the New York Road Runners (NYRR) is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its five-borough New York City Marathon course. Runners selected for Team Strong, Smart, and Bold will have the opportunity to participate in this historic milestone as they pursue their personal goals and passion for running while supporting our educational and advocacy initiatives.
The minimum fundraising commitment for each participant is $4,000, but runners are encouraged to aim for $5,000 or more. All proceeds raised by the team will support our programs.

The Application Timeline
If you are interested in representing GINYC at the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, please fill out and submit our pre-registration form by June 30, 2026.
The Review and Selection Timeline:
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all entries are filled.
Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will receive an email notification to offer you a spot on our team. Following that, we will provide instructions on how to claim your bib to register and to create your fundraising page on NYRR’s preferred fundraising platform, Haku.
Please note: Your participation in the race is not guaranteed until you register using our charity registration link and create your fundraising page.
Participants already guaranteed entry to the TCS New York City Marathon are welcome to join our team and fundraise for us. Please use this link to register and create your non-participant fundraising page on Haku.
