For more than 20 years, Girls Inc. of NYC has hosted College Shower, a semester-long post-secondary education preparatory program where graduating seniors receive college and career readiness training.
Girls enrolled in the College Shower course can apply to be one of 25 honorees at the annual Lifting Girls Up Gala and College Shower event and receive scholarships and supplies to support them at college.
In addition to the College Shower curriculum, to provide seniors with quality enrichment engagements, we host a College Shower Roundtable event that features numerous college and career-related workshops.
